While flipping through a few wedding magazines at Borders in Traverse, I stumbled upon a beautiful wedding designed by Alicia, the owner of A Day in May. I met Alicia through work… she comes down to help out with Jodi and Jenn for large events we share. It is a collaboration of some of industries best when these three get together! Anyway… beside the beautiful wedding, there was something that caught my eye immediately.

Do you notice that cake in the center? I know it is kind of a small image… but it is a 5 tiered cake of pillows with so much detail: tassels, fringe, ect). I had been on a hunt for someone in the Traverse City area. Luckily, Alicia was more than happy to give me the name of this amazing pastry chef… Ann of Aunt B’s Cake and Desserts. I browsed her website and scheduled an appointment. Joe and I absolutely LOVED her cake… so moist and delicious! Not to mention Ann is so kind and listened so unbelievably well to what we wanted. She is excited about her desserts and we are so thrilled to work with her!
